2. Marketing Plan
Based on the survey we collect from different group of people in different ages, 15-25 years old are the group which most prefer to drink soda. Thus, our marketing plan is to promote the Sodastream in some colleges and universities. CSUF will be the first place we decided to start our product promotion. The exciting product promotion session will coming soon in August. People who decide to attend the activity and buy our soda maker during that time, you will get a super valuable gift package which include carbonators, carbonating bottles and sodamix flavors that is worth about $ 80.
The SodaStream product has always been floating around as a product that I would like to try, since I always here people say it tastes just like soda. Just an idea, I would focus selling the machine to apartments and dorms in the area as those are the people who are most likely going to purchase the machine. The reasoning behind my thinking is because a student who commutes to school means they most likely live with their parents and if they brought a soda machine of all things home, their parents would not be quite happy. On the other hand, selling it to students who don't live with their parents (dorms and apartments) they would have a greater chance to guy the product. Especially for those who like to party, who can show them the cost benefits of the machine compared to buying chasers every week.

We choose colleges and universities to do our promotion because we try to focus on the group of people who will most have interests on our product. Some students may not have affordable for the soda makers, but if the children drink soda a lot, their parents will like to purchase our product to provide their children a healthy state. Also, for our product promotion, we are very glad to invite both the students and their parents. We will provide free drinks and all the drinks will make by our product. You will never regret to join us.
DeleteThis seems like a great idea! I think one thing that definitely needs to be taken into consideration is prices. Since CSUF will be the first place that the product will be promoted, possibly giving a discount or having a raffle to win one would be a good idea. College students are much more frugal, so they have smaller budgets for entertainment or luxury items.

Thank you for your advice. Right many people want to get one for one free promotion. We decide to give the gift package because these products in the package are useful for make your own soda and are really equal to the price of one soda maker machine. But I really like your idea of having a raffle to win one, it will be more exciting. We are very glad to hear you have interest on our promotion, and you will never regret to join us.
